Projects like this are always fun to do - you get told a brief, handed a pile of amazing footage and told to go away and create something that captures the taste of the project to come. 
I guess it's what you'd call pure editing - especially if you get to animate your own maps in After Effects like I did on this project. It was a brilliant and fun project to work on.

This film project was an epic undertaking: every movie and notable stage performance in this persons career was digitised along with their home movies, photographs and TV appearances to create a celebration of their life. The collection of films were screened at memorial services held in New York and London.

Historical observational documentary series following a team who live the life of Victorian farmers for a year. Wearing period clothes and using only the materials that would have been available in 1885, historian Ruth Goodman and archaeologists Alex Langlands and Peter Ginn are going back in time to relive the day-to-day life of the Victorian farmer.

Henry VIII & His Six Wives (Ep4)
Dramatised documentary about the infamous Tudor king and the women he married. Historians Suzannah Lipscomb and Dan Jones tell the stories of Henry's last two wives - the fifth, the young, beautiful but indiscreet Catherine Howard, the sixth, the mature and wise Catherine Parr who nearly lost her head when she pushed him too far on religious reform.
